Owner operated, one truck, no middlemen
There is no yard full of subcontractors here and no dispatch queue. Aus Cut runs one fully equipped truck with slurry control, and it is booked by the people who own the business.
That shapes what we take on. We say yes to work we can do properly, and we say so when a job is not ours, which is more useful to a site manager than a maybe.
There is no job too big or too small. A single core hole for a plumber gets the same attention as a week of saw cutting on a commercial slab.
The team
Curtis
Curtis Tetley has been cutting concrete for sixteen years. He quotes the work, runs the saw and drills the holes, so what you are told on the phone is what happens on site.
Melissa
Melissa Mowles looks after enquiries, scheduling and accounts. If you have emailed the office or called to book a job in, you have spoken to Melissa.
One truck, properly set up
Everything needed for a sawing and drilling job travels on the one truck. Floor saw, soft cut saw, hand and ring saws, core drilling rigs, and the slurry control system.
What we carry is set up for the work we actually take on, and it is maintained by the person who uses it.
How far the truck goes
All of South East Queensland, Tweed to Toowoomba. Brisbane and Moreton Bay most weeks, the Gold Coast to the south, and west out past Ipswich to the Downs.
If you are somewhere out of the way and the job is worth the trip, ask anyway.
